Khalid Mousa Abdelrazig is recognized as one of the most prominent leaders in sports administration and community development among the Sudanese diaspora in the United States. He is known for his strategic vision, institutional leadership, and dedication to building sustainable organizations that unite communities through sports and culture.
His journey began as a player and founder of a football team in Ohio, where he successfully led the team to win four championships in SASF competitions. This early success demonstrated his leadership ability and commitment to excellence.
Khalid Musa is also one of the founding members of the Sudanese American Sports Federation (SASF), established in 2003. He served on the first executive committee and contributed directly to building the federation’s organizational foundation.
Throughout his career, he has held several senior leadership roles including Sports Secretary and Head of the Technical Committee. In these positions, he helped improve technical operations, player development, and competition standards.
As President, he has led a major digital transformation of the federation by introducing player registration systems and electronic competition management. Under his leadership, SASF has expanded significantly, especially through the Annual Soccer League during Labor Day weekend, attracting between 5,000 and 10,000 Sudanese Americans from across the United States.
