AL-Rasheed Ali Ibrahim is one of the prominent professionals in the field of sports and administrative work, possessing extensive experience that combines practical field knowledge with a strong institutional vision. He completed his education in Sudan, in the city of Shendi, beginning at Shendi Northern Boys Primary School, followed by Abdelkarim Al-Sayed Intermediate School and Shendi Secondary School for Boys, before continuing his academic journey at Strayer University in Virginia, United States.
His involvement in sports began as a player before transitioning into administrative roles with several teams, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in sports management. He joined the Sudanese American Soccer Federation (SASF) as a member of the General Assembly in 2002 and has remained an active contributor ever since.
From 2016 to 2020, he served two consecutive terms as Secretary General, first during the presidency of Faisal Habiballah and then during the following term under President Al-Hadi Mohamed Ali. He later held the position of Youth Secretary from 2024 to 2026, where he played an important role in developing the grassroots and youth sector.
He currently serves as Secretary of External Relations for the 2026–2028 term, focusing on strengthening partnerships and building institutional relationships. He is widely respected for his professionalism in sports administration, his deep research into sports system development, and his ability to bring strategic value to the federation. In addition, he remains an active member of the General Assembly and serves as the representative of Washington United Team in Washington, D.C.
